Note

- The workshop is conducted in Cantonese supplemented with English and Putonghua.
- Workshop and market are held on the same day. Participants can take the shuttle bus arranged by #ddHK travelling between Fanling and Sha Tau Kok on the day of market.
- Registration will begin at 10am on 12 December 2024 (Thu).

Application for Tourism Closed Area Permits

Participants need to obtain a valid Tourism Closed Area Permit before going to Sha Tau Kok to participate in this guided tour. The Tourism Closed Area Permits can be applied for through the Hong Kong Police Force “Online Applications Platform”. It takes three working days to process. Please login the platform to download the electronic permit upon approval and present it on the day of activity to police officers.

Applicants are advised to apply for the Tourism Closed Area Permits as soon as they successfully register for the activity. For relevant application procedures, please visit Hong Kong Police Force “Online Applications Platform”.

About Fragrant Village

Fragrant Village was founded in 2016 and mainly focuses on curating music and art projects about villages in Hong Kong inspired by the land and the villagers, aiming to invite the public to enter these villages and experience their history, culture, and ecology. Fragrant Village curated the "Village School Anthem Project" exhibition from 2021-2023 by collecting school songs of village schools and researching village school history, which reflects the context of Hong Kong's urban development, to preserve the little-known community history and use village school songs as the key to open the community and share art.
