Sha Tau Kok boasts charming scenery and a rich artistic scene. Apart from the Sha Tau Kok Estate, dubbed as the “Salmon House” and expressive murals near Sha Tau Kok Square, participants will also visit the three creative installations brought by #ddHK. The local walking tour experts from Walk in Hong Kong will engage participants in exploring these landmarks from creative and cultural aspects, discovering local stories, artistic vibes and lifestyle of Sha Tau Kok.

- - The guided tour is conducted in Cantonese supplemented with English and Putonghua.
- - Shuttle bus services will be provided for participants travelling between Fanling and Sha Tau Kok.
- - Registration for guided tour in January 2025 will begin at 10am on 12 December 2024 (Thu).
Application for Tourism Closed Area Permits
Participants need to obtain a valid Tourism Closed Area Permit before going to Sha Tau Kok to participate in this guided tour. The Tourism Closed Area Permits can be applied for through the Hong Kong Police Force “Online Applications Platform”. It takes three working days to process. Please login the platform to download the electronic permit upon approval and present it on the day of activity to police officers.
