The local walking tour experts from Walk in Hong Kong will lead participants to explore historical relics and cultural landmarks in Sha Tau Kok, such as Tin Hau Temple at Yim Liu Ha Tsuen, Sha Tau Kok Story House, Chung Ying Street Garden, and the Cape of Sha Tau Kok. They will share the enchanting tales of this neighborhood, allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding of the local customs and culture, and experience the unique charm of Sha Tau Kok.

- - The guided tour is conducted in Cantonese supplemented with English and Putonghua.
- - Shuttle bus services will be provided for participants travelling between Fanling and Sha Tau Kok.
- - Ferry services will be arranged travelling between Sha Tau Kok Pier and Lai Chi Wo.
- - Registration for tours in January 2025 will begin at 10am on 12 December 2024 (Thu).
- - Registration for tours in February 2025 will begin at 10am on 16 January 2025 (Thu).
Application for Tourism Closed Area Permits
Participants need to obtain a valid Tourism Closed Area Permit before going to Sha Tau Kok to participate in this guided tour. The Tourism Closed Area Permits can be applied for through the Hong Kong Police Force “Online Applications Platform”. It takes three working days to process. Please login the platform to download the electronic permit upon approval and present it on the day of activity to police officers.
