How to enter：

 

  1. The photo taken should include one of the art installations on display during the #ddHK Vivid Tsuen Wan event.
  2. Upload photos to your personal Instagram account, tag "@DesignDistrictHK_ddHK" on each photo, and add the hashtag "#EnterVividPhotoCompetition" in your post to indicate your decision to participate in the competition.
  3. Remember to make your account public until the competition ends, or we can’t see your photos.
  4. Follow #ddHK’s Instagram account.

 

  • The deadline for submissions is 15.09.2023 00:00 AM (HKT)
  • The competition results will be posted on the website by 15.10.2023.

Terms and Conditions


  1. The judging panel for the Vivid Photography Competition (referred to as the "Competition") consists of the curatorial team from Design District Hong Kong（#ddHK）Vivid Tsuen Wan (referred to as the "Event").
  2. By participating in the Competition, participants agree to allow the Event Organiser to display or publish their photos on the Event's social media or any other promotional channels.   
  3. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for any data submission delays, loss, errors, non-recognition, or other technical issues caused by computer, network, social platform or other technical problems. 
  4. The decision of the panel of judges is final. In the event of a dispute, the Organiser reserves the right to make the final decision.   
  5. The photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the Competition Entrant. By entering the Competition, Entrant represents, acknowledges, and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original work created solely by the Entrant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, that the photograph does not breach the contract with any third party and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photograph, nor does the photograph violate any applicable law or court order. If a submission violates the rules above, the Organiser reserves the right to disqualify the participant from receiving any awards at any given time.
  6. Following the announcement of the competition results, the Organiser will contact the winners via Instagram to arrange a prize presentation. If a winner cannot be contacted within two months of the announcement, the Organiser reserves the right to choose an alternate winner.
  7. If for any reason, the Competition is not capable of running as planned due to, for example, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or technical failures, the Organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Competition. 
  8. In case of any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
